Please join us for this year's Montgomery County Right to Life Student Oratory contest for 11th and 12th grade students on Saturday, February 11, 2012. We look forward to meeting all the young pro-life men and women of our community as the new leaders spring forward in the fight to educate everyone about protecting life from fertilization to end of life.

Please pass this on the friends, family, churches, businesses, youth groups and school associates and counselors.

The Montgomery County RTL chapter will be sponsoring a table at the Coalition for Life's (Brazos Valley/College Station) annual fundraising banquet on Thursday, February 16, 2012. We will have 10 seats available that will be paid for, so let us know if you would like a seat. We already have some seats taken, but are not filled. Star Parker is the guest speaker. She is fantastic and has spoken at the Texas RTL Celebration of Life in the past. Join us! If we run out of seats, there will, of course, be general seating too.

Teresa Strack has agreed to be Acting Director of our MCRTL chapter! She will be a great asset as we move forward. We are hoping for many people to step forward and volunteer for various projects. Her contact info is:

Tuesday, February 21, 2012, is the date for our local "40 Days for Life" kickoff of the spring campaign. We are excited that West Conroe Baptist Church in Conroe has agreed to host this! Join us for the opportunity to contribute to maybe the most important thing being done nationally to end abortion in our lifetimes! State Representative Sid Miller, who was a key leader in passing miraculous new pro-life laws this past spring in Austin, and Houston Coalition for Life will be there, as well as other elected representatives from Montgomery County!

We are also sponsoring the date Thursday, March 1, for the chapter to fill in the vigil spots outside Planned Parenthood from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Of course, your help is welcome at any time. Please notify us at this email or call/email Teresa Strack (above).
