“All that is required for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.” —Edmund Burke |

Mission Montgomery County Right to Life was granted its chapter charter in November of 2005. (See Mission Statement below). We represent its members and abide by the Bylaws of its parent entity, Texas Right to Life Committee, Inc. Texas Right to Life governs separate entities which include its county chapters (501(c)(4)), the Texas Right to Life Educational Fund (501(c)(3)) and the Political Action Committee (PAC) (501(c)(5)). Montgomery County Right to Life is a “grass-roots” local chapter of the largest and oldest statewide Pro-Life organization, Texas Right to Life, founded in 1973. It is a nonprofit, nonsectarian and nonpartisan entity. While fighting abortion is a major aim, we also champion other areas, combating cloning, embryonic stem cell research and end of life issues. Our goal is to support the statewide efforts of Texas Right to Life by uniting and strengthening the local Pro-Life community through educational and legislative efforts. We support the following mission statement:
We welcome others who want to be part of the community that understands the value of every human life. Currently, there are periodic public meetings held on the last Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m. at the Conroe branch Montgomery County Library where one can learn more. Speakers will provide information on who we are and current goals. One specific goal is to expand membership and have every church represented by at least one liaison member. We will have materials provided for you to spread among your church, business, family and people you know in the community. |
